Registration

Registration will be via ESAM06 Conference Maker which will be available from December 2005. There are two steps to completing your registration.

Step 1: Please register your attendance via Conference Maker.

To register with ESAM06 Conference Maker:

If you have not previously visited a Conference Maker site you will be need to create a new Conference Maker account, go to:

Then to register with the ESAM06 Conference Maker site simply log in to:

Conference Maker Tips and Tricks

If you are experiencing problems with Conference Maker, please ensure that your computer is configured to enable cookies and that your computer's clock, including time zone, is correct. If you are using a firewall, please ensure that its configuration allows session cookies from gemini.econ.umd.edu

Step 2: Please pay for your registration via the OneStop secure payment system.

Once you have registered with Conference Maker, please pay your registration fee by using the
 secure payment form.

Registrations for ESAM06 have now closed.

A Note About Tax Invoices

 If you require a tax invoice as proof of your payment, please print and retain the appropriate confirmation window.
If you are paying by credit card, the confirmation window will display after the system confirms that your payment has been made.
 If you are paying by cheque, the confirmation window will display after you have selected the "pay by cheque" option.

Please note that registrations received before 29 May 2006 will attract an early bird discount of AU$100.

Paper Contributors: Registration is separate to submission of papers. You must register for attendance.
Conference Attendees: Please register with Conference Maker to allow us to communicate with you as all communication with conference attendees is managed through this system.

 


Payment Information

Registration for ESAM06 can be paid by credit card (Bankcard / Visa / Mastercard / AMEX) or cheque.

Registration fees are as follows:

Econometric Society members:
AU$550 regular (early bird special); AU$650 after 29 May 2006.
AU$275 students (early bird special); AU$375 after 29 May 2006.

Non-members:
AU$650 regular (early bird special); AU$750 after 29 May 2006.
AU$375 students (early bird special); AU$475 after 29 May 2006.

Please note that non-members' registration fees include a 12-month Society membership and online access to the
"Econometrica" journal.

Full refunds of conference registration fees are available until 10 June 2006.
From 10 June to 23 June 2006, we will refund 75% of the registration fees. No refunds will be given from 23 June 2006.

Please note that registrations for ESAM06 close on Wednesday 28 June 2006, 5:00pm Australian Eastern Standard Time.

Before you register, please note the following:

Registration by 28 May 2006 (5pm AEST) attracts an "early bird" discount of $100.
Members of the Econometric Society are eligible for a discount of $100.
You will need a current membership number to claim the discount. This will be printed on your ES renewal notice as your "Customer Number". To join the Society, or confirm your Customer Number, visit the Econometric Society Membership site.
Attendees who register as non-members will automatically become members of the Econometric Society, unless they make a specific request to the Program Chairs that this not be done.
Communication with conference participants will be via the ESAM06 Conference Maker Conference Site. This will provide online access to papers and the conference program, and automated email announcements.
Presenters of contributed papers must have registered by 28 May 2006 to confirm their place in the program.
